Please find a list of guide prices below.  These are based on appointments at the recommended frequency.  If the coat requires extra work (de-matting for example) there may be an increase from these prices depending on the amount of extra work required.  We can confirm this with you during the consultation.  Please scroll down for more information. All dogs are seen on a one to one basis - I like to get to know the dog before the job starts to allow the dog to settle and become comfortable with the surroundings. While your dog is with us we will fully shampoo with specialist medicated products according to coat type, clean towels for every dog, blow dry, clip nails, clean ears (and pluck if necessary). Schnauzer, Springers etc) Large Dog  from £35 (e.g. Collies, Retrievers) Extra Large from £65 (e.g. Old English Sheepdog, Newfoundland) Short hair wash and dry (inc. ears and nails) Small  £15 Medium  £20 Large  £25 Overdue Pricing If a dog is overdue for a groom we have to allow a longer amount of time for the appointment so we can do an initial clip which takes away the excess coat before we wash - otherwise we would be washing and drying a portion of the coat which we are going to remove anyway, and we want the benefits of the shampoo to be for the coat that's going to remain.  If the coat has too much grit or dirt particles in it we have to clean them out before we can even begin clipping (nothing blunts our clippers and scissors faster than dirt and we have to preserve their efficiency so it's not uncomfortable for the dog) and this takes more time to dry hence we have to book out more time. We are happy to offer advice for maintaining your dogs coat between grooms - just a few minutes a day can make all the difference - and helps keep down the cost of grooming your dog.
